AFHID is hiring Research Supervisors to lead an evaluation of Georgetown Global Health Nigeria’s (GGHN) HIV treatment program. The evaluation focuses on Person-Centered Care (PCC) implementation and program sustainability. Research Supervisors will coordinate the activities of research assistants, engage stakeholders, and ensure adherence to ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate research assistants in conducting qualitative and quantitative data collection.
- Ensure strict adherence to ethical standards, including informed consent procedures for all data collection activities.
- Provide guidance and support to research assistants in administering data collection tools, such as surveys, focus group discussions, and interviews.
- Monitor data quality to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity throughout the data collection process.
- Assist the Afhid evaluation team in facilitating state-level stakeholder advocacy meetings/communication during fieldwork.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in public health, social sciences, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Extensive experience in both qualitative and quantitative data collection methods; familiarity with HIV programs is a plus.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience in field research, particularly in healthcare or HIV-related projects.
- Fluency in Hausa and must be a resident of Jigawa, Bauchi, or Kano.
- Strong organizational and team management skills.
