AFHID is hiring Research Assistants to support an evaluation of Georgetown Global Health Nigeria’s (GGHN) HIV treatment program. The evaluation will assess the effectiveness of Person-Centered Care (PCC) implementation and program sustainability. Research Assistants will conduct data collection including interviews, and surveys among clients, healthcare providers, and government stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct qualitative data collection, including in-depth interviews and key informant interviews with clients and healthcare providers.
- Administer quantitative surveys to measure client satisfaction, healthcare provider’s perspectives, and service accessibility.
- Experience with electronic data collection.
- Collaborate closely with team members to maintain data integrity, ensure high-quality data collection, and adhere to all ethical guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in public health, social sciences, or a related field.
- Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative data collection; experience in HIV-related programs is a plus.
- Prior experience in data collection within healthcare or community-based projects.
- Fluency in Hausa and must be a resident of Jigawa, Bauchi, or Kano.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability, proactive approach, and the ability to work independently.
